The Opportunity
Women's athletic apparel often lands on one side or the other: performance or fashion. Co//Lab was created to find the space between the two.
Rooted in dance, the goal was to build a brand and product line that could perform in training while still feeling considered and wearable outside of it. From the beginning, the opportunity was bigger than a single collection. We wanted to create a foundation that could grow through new products, partnerships, and collaborations.
The Work
I helped build Co//Lab from the ground up, creating the brand identity and leading product development for the initial collection.
The identity centers around the double slash, a simple graphic element inspired by movement and collaboration. Rather than treating it as just a logo, we developed it as a flexible system that could carry through packaging, graphics, trims, garment details, and co-branded applications.

Product platform built for training and everyday wear
On the product side, I helped shape the assortment, silhouettes, styling, materials, color, and customization strategy. We worked to find the right balance between performance and everyday wear while creating a product platform flexible enough to evolve with the brand.
Brand and product were developed together from the beginning. That allowed the identity, garments, details, and overall positioning to feel like parts of the same idea rather than separate pieces brought together at the end.
The Impact
Co//Lab has grown from an initial brand and product concept into a platform for larger partnerships and collaborations.
Since launch, the brand has developed a co-branded collection with Ohio State, partnered with the Minnesota Timberwolves dance team, and opened conversations with additional D1 programs.

More importantly, the original system was built with that kind of growth in mind. The identity can adapt to different partners without losing itself, while the product platform provides a foundation for new silhouettes, collections, and collaborations as the brand continues to grow.
