Colab Collective
Women's Athleisure
Project
Brand Identity & Apparel

Overview
The Challenge
Most women’s athletic apparel sits on one side or the other. It's usually either performance or fashion. Not much in between. Colab was built to live in that gap. Something rooted in dance, designed to move, but still wearable outside of training.
My Approach
Built the brand from the ground up. The logo, identity system, and product direction.
The identity centers around the double-slash. It became a simple way to represent movement and collaboration, and carried across everything from branding to trims to garment details. Worked with my team to develop the first line of women’s athleisure. The focus was getting the balance right, fit, function, and something that felt a bit more elevated than typical activewear.
The Impact
The brand picked up traction quickly.
Since launch, Colab has developed a co-branded line with Ohio State, partnered with the Minnesota Timberwolves dance team, and is in conversations with additional D1 programs. It’s started to move beyond a single product line and into something more collaborative.
What Made It Work
A simple identity system that scaled across product and branding
Clear positioning between performance and fashion
Strong connection to the founders’ background in dance
Product that translated well into co-branded partnerships
